Tsurui Sonmin-no-mori (peoples forest) The observation-tower (30m high) enables you to have a panoramic view of surrounding country. Amusements in Tsurui-Mura Tsurui Undo Hiroba (Amusement Park) This park (12ha) is ideal for families. It has tennis courts, go-carts, barbecue corner and other facilities that anybody can enjoy. There is a hot spring bath and a restaurant in The Green Park, the main building of the park. Tsurui Camp Site This campsite is adjacent to Tsurui Undo Hiroba, very popular in high season. Tsurui Park-golf Course This park-golf course, with 36 holes, is extremely popular and crowded with people on weekends. Tancho Festival January
This festival takes place in mid January and collects some 1.000 visitors every year. It has an attraction called Endurance Game in which the attendants compete for the championship standing on a bare-foot on the snow, as well as the scattering of the rice cakes.

Tsurui Forest Festival  July
This festival is held in mid July at Sonmin-no-mori (People゜s Forest) Auto-Camping Sites with about 1.000 people taking part in it. Free milk is provided for the visitors and there is a sale of edible wild plants. There are some attractions such as Centipede Competition Carpentry for Beginners and Log Sawing Competition.

Tsurui Country Bon-Dancing  August
Now we are nearing the end of the summer, and some 1.000 people enjoy dancing during this three-day festival, which also includes fireworks toward the end of the event. The Fancy Dress Bon-Dancing Competition is the main attraction of the festival and about 40 teams, young and old, participate in it.

Tsurui Industry and Tancho Festival  September
This is the festival aimed for the promotion of the dairy farming, which is the main industry of the village. It also provides a good opportunity for the village people to have good fun. The attractions include Hay Rolling Competition and Guessing of the Weight of the Hay-Rolls Potatoes and other vegetables are sold in special prices during the festival.
